How to prepare
No fasting required. Continue eating your normal diet so the test reflects your current food exposures. Avoid antihistamines for 48 hours before collection, as they may affect results. Collect the blood spot sample using the provided allergy card and post it back promptly following the kit instructions.
After the test
Discuss your results with a healthcare provider who can help prioritise which foods to trial removing and for how long. A supervised elimination period of 4 to 6 weeks followed by systematic reintroduction is a common approach to identifying true triggers. If many foods show elevated IgA, your provider may also investigate underlying gut health as a contributing factor.
Your test results will be available in your private dashboard. If there are any urgent issues, we'll let you know so you can follow up with your health professional.
Understanding results
Results show IgA antibody levels for each of the 144 foods tested, categorised as normal, borderline, or elevated. Elevated IgA to specific foods suggests your gut's immune system has responded to those foods, but this does not confirm they are causing your symptoms. Multiple elevated results may reflect underlying gut dysfunction rather than true sensitivity to every flagged food. Discuss your results with a healthcare provider experienced in food sensitivity assessment.
