Coagulation Health
Coagulation Health refers to the body's ability to form blood clots properly, ensuring a balance between preventing excessive bleeding and avoiding dangerous clot formation. Blood clotting (also known as coagulation) is a complex process involving various proteins, platelets, and clotting factors that work together to stop bleeding when a blood vessel is injured. However, imbalances in this system can lead to serious health concerns, including excessive bleeding (haemorrhage) or abnormal clotting (thrombosis), which can result in conditions such as deep vein thrombosis (DVT), pulmonary embolism, or stroke.
