How to prepare
Collect three saliva samples at approximately 8 am, 6 pm, and 10 pm. Avoid caffeine after midday. Avoid alcohol for 24 hours. Dim lights and avoid screens in the hour before evening and bedtime samples. Pause melatonin and adaptogenic supplements for 48 hours before collection.
After the test
Share your results with a qualified healthcare practitioner experienced in sleep health or hormonal assessment. Keeping a simple sleep diary for the week around your test can give your practitioner valuable context.
Your test results will be available in your private dashboard. If there are any urgent issues, we'll let you know so you can follow up with your health professional.
Understanding results
Your report shows melatonin and cortisol levels at each collection point. Your practitioner will look at the relationship between the two hormones — whether cortisol drops appropriately in the evening, whether melatonin reaches sufficient levels at bedtime, and whether the timing of the crossover aligns with when you're trying to sleep.
