Obtain collection container from pathology provider with detailed instructions. Begin collection after first morning urination, collect all urine for exactly 24 hours, end with first morning urination the next day. Keep collection container refrigerated and follow specific timing instructions.

After the test

Elevated results require further evaluation for Cushing's syndrome with additional specialized tests. Low results may need assessment for adrenal insufficiency. Work with endocrinologists for comprehensive diagnosis and treatment planning.
