No special preparation is required. For 30 minutes before sample collection, avoid eating, drinking, smoking, or chewing gum. Collect buccal cells using the provided kit according to instructions for your gene test. No medications need to be discontinued. Store the sample properly and ship promptly for optimal DNA quality.

After the test

You’ll receive your results directly and can discuss them with a qualified practitioner to interpret what they mean for your long-term health plan. (We recommend combining results with biomarkers and lifestyle context.)
