The Oestrogen Essential profile measures 12 oestrogen hormones and their metabolites from a simple dried urine collection. It shows not just how much oestrogen your body is producing, but how it is being processed through different metabolic pathways.

Oestrogen is metabolised in phases. Phase I produces hydroxy metabolites (2-OH, 4-OH, 16-OH), and Phase II methylates these to neutralise them. This test measures all of these steps.

Collect dried urine samples on filter paper at the intervals specified in the kit instructions. If possible, avoid hormone supplements for 48 hours before testing. Ship samples using the prepaid return envelope.
